		<description>I hope it doesn&#039;t take too long. If anything, after seeing my electricity bill from the month of December, I hope to have affordable LED Xmas lights by next year.  I couldn&#039;t believe how much the bill was (but then again, I kinda did the Clark Griswold this year on my house :) )</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t doubt that it won&#039;t be too long before LEDs begin to take over the CFL market Ryan.  As is, LEDs are a growing product that are rapily taking over store shelves to replace other, less efficient bulbs!</description>

		<description>I think it will be interesting to see how long it takes for LED lights to overtake CFL&#039;s as the green choice for lighting.

I&#039;ve seen estimates that they only consume 1/3rd the energy of a CFL, or 1/30th of that of a incandescent.  Plus, they have no mercury (unlike CFL&#039;s).  There are other benefits you can find with some research, too.

Cost is still the biggest inhibitor of adoption..hopefully their costs come down soon and we can see continued reduction in our energy consumption.</description>
