Neem Oil

What Is Neem Oil?

Neem oil is a vegetable oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of the Neem tree. The Neem tree is an evergreen tree which is native to India. It has been introduced to many other areas of the world.

What Can I Use Neem Oil For?

Neem oil can be used as and entirely organic, and 100% safe pesticide. It is usually applied as a spray mixed with warm water, but is also used as a soil drench to combat pests below the surface of the soil, such as gnats.

How Does Neem Oil Work?

Neem oil, when applied through a spray or drench disrupts the reproductive process of many insects. You basically cause a generation of pests to be unable to reproduce. Neem oil works best if applied at 2-5 day intervals, in order to kill each generation of pest as they hatch and begin the reproduction phase once again. Continue applying Neem oil until all signs of pests are gone, and you feel that the problem is under control.
